Hello ,
Can you tell me please the difference between preset indicators and control indicators ?
Thanks.
Preset Indicators are essentially a saved template for Control Indicators. You are saving default values for Control Indicators which can then be reused for MICs.
Control Indicators are what tell the MIC what it does, so whether or not you use a sampling procedure, have lower or upper limits, etc.
You could use Preset Indicators if, for example, you create a general MIC that is testing for weight and sometimes you want weight to be a calculated MIC and other times you want it to be a summarized recording. You can use Preset Indicators in this instance to use the same MIC for both as opposed to creating 2 separate MICs.
