I am setting SLD Configuration for solman 7.1

Error in processing of HTTP request: (400)ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

what can i do?

Hello,

You need to check:
1. hostname parameters (SAPLOCALHOSTFULL, icm/host_name_full)
2. parameters in transaction smicm
3. HTTP proxy info in Tx SM59
4. transaction SLDCHECK
5. source user and authorization

Are you able to login to the SLD of your solman using solman_admin?

http://fqdn:5NN00/sld

If you are able to get into the website, can you click on the 'administration' and check if the status is running?

http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager
     > Media Library > Technical Information
     > Setup Guide Landscape Management Database

Attention: The Prerequisites for Managing sytem from
SAP Note No. 1483508 must be fulfilled at any time.

Please can you post your dev_icm log file here.

1. It may be finding the HTTPS, service so make sure the below

SMICM->Services

icm/server_port_0                           PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$,,PROCTIMEOUT=300

#icm/server_port_1                           PROT=HTTPS,PORT=XX$$,,PROCTIMEOUT=300
