Date of Manufacturing getting deleted from batch Master

Dear Experts ,

I am finding some unusual behavior after usage decision has been done ,

On the Batch Master -- MSC3N , the date of manufacturing (DOM) & is observed to be deleted  , when the Usage Decision has been done ,

Any clue why this unusual behavior had been done ??

Any exit or any other custom program which runs on periodic basis in place? As per the screen shots I see that these dates are not changing (getting blank) immediately when you run QA11 i.e. giving UD. There is some time gap after the UD to these changes. Please check if any external ABAP program is running with some logic to reset these dates

I agree with Anand.  This sounds like a UD user exit is doing some kind of checking/changing of your dates.

I don't think what you are experiencing is a standard SAP thing.

Check Material Master settings for minimum remaining shlef life, Also check if program QA07 is

scheduled to run in the background

Hi,

It seems that derivation changes the values.

Did you define a receiver condition record for material type HALB?

If you don't wish to have a derivation happen for the material/event you described you have to switch it off for this material. Do you want derivation to happen for semi-finished materials during usage

decision? Do you want derivation to happen for the semi-finished materials at all as a receiver?

Dear Natalia ,

the Batch derivation is activated for all Finished Materials

the Values of Date of Manufacuring & Expiry date is flowing as (Sfg1 to SFG2 to SFG3 to FG )

This Batch Derivation is happening properly for other materials

Only for some materials we are facing this unusual behaviour

For other materials also , expiry date & date of manufacturing is automatically getting deleted after few seconds , as suggested by ananad rao ,

Their is no external Abap programs or any user exit after the UD .

i need to know why this is happening and how to prevent this issue in future
