I found that this issue is only for views created via HANA Studio. If I publishing DataSet from Lumira Desktop with cyrillic names of dims/mes and after this goes to Lumira Server and open this DS for discover - all dims/mes names shown correct in cyrillic.
I found a workarount for this problem:
1. create view in hana studio with cyrillic names of dims/mes
2. connect to it through Lumira Desktop (HANA online connection type)
3. Publish Dataset back to HANA (in this case hana does not create additinal tables and views, just metadata for new view). You can rename DS with cyrillic name before publishing.
4. Login to Lumira Server and open this DS for discover.
5. Have fun
6. wait for patch or fix

Hello
I have the same issue on the latest's version of HANA rev96 and UAFL304 and Lumira Server 1.25
But if I connect to hana view through Lumira Desktop - all is fine.
Did you find the resolution of this issue?

Hello Alexander,
it might be the case, the Lumira, is not 100 % multi language ready.
Usually your are able to control the language setting in your internet browser setting.
In Microsoft Internet Explorer it would be -> Internet Options => Languages => Default languages.
In Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 you can control here, in what order the language display works.
Try to set it to English (United States) as the first one.
Best regards
Carlos Behlau

Hello, Carlos!
We are using latest version of all needed products. One thing that is not latest version - SAP HANA, its rev 94 SP09 and as result not latest UI5RUNTIME components for it.
In other product: Analytical Apps for Fiori, for example Explore Supply Network, we have the same wrong encoding:
I think its sap smart bussiness components are not adapted for Cyrillic alphabet.
Thank you for your help!
