Adding Additional Custom field in Standard View ??

Hi..All,

I have requirement to hide one field (UI element) and create new field (UI element) in standard webdynpro view.

I have gone through Ramakrishna post  for hiding the field as below link.

For adding the field(creating new field)--

I have enhanced standard view and inserted new field(bind with required ZNODE attribute).But the field is not appearing in the view.

Kindly suggest --what could be the problem.

Hi Mahesh,

please check the visibility of the field and make sure it is 'Visible' , and check the same property of the fields Transparent container/Group.

If visibility property is binded with some values then condition based visibility property is enabled.

Hi...Gowtham,

The required field UI visibilty property is 'Visible' only(Component -B)

i have done the same enhancement for different component-A view- there its working .

Why its not working for the other Component-B.

Actually the component-B is involved with Road map scenario.

Are there any enahncement restriction for roadmap scenario.......

Hi Mahesh,

Kindly check the component configuration that is used in the application , if the fields are not enabled there then pls enable them and try.
