Theme Designer fails to launch

Hello all

We are having problems when launching Theme Designer.

Procedure

1. Execute the transaction /UI5/THEME_DESIGNER

2. Google Chrome is launched with the URL http://<...>.com:8000/sap/bc/theming/theme-designer?sap-client=100

3. Logon says no HTTPS switch occured (this is a sandbox system)

4. Enter logon credentials with a user having SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profiles

5. Then the screen darkens and the following error message is shown (the screenshot is attached) (seems like in a loop as the message area constantly refreshes)

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'childNodes' of null

The error details in Google Chrome console also says: [A screenshot for this part is also attached]

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not found)

Uncaught TypeError: sap.ui.table.TableHelper.addTableClass is not a function

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'childNodes' of null ListBox.js:6

System Version Information

- SAP_UI: 740 SP 0012

- SAP_GWFND: 740 SP 0011

- SAP_UIFT: 100 SP 0001

- SAP UI5 version: 1.28.7

- Google Chrome version: 43.0.2357.81 m

- OS version: Windows 7.1 SP1 64-bit

I have checked many posts and tried applying some notes, etc. but did not help.

Any idea why this happens and how to resolve this?

Hi

The problem was resolved with the next SAPUI5 library update. So, no idea about the root cause.
