We have Existing Crystal Reports and We User Requirement is Build Beautiful Dash Boards

On Top Of Crystal Reports

Not In the Crystal Reports

But Dashboard By Taking Crystal Reports As A Source

How To Make Connection ?

How To Extract Fields  ?

Using Live office you can create dashboards.

Crystal reports --> Live Office(Connection) --> Dashboard.

Hi Mohan,

Follow these steps to create dashboard on top of crsytal.

1. create crystal report as per user the requirement , so that you pull the data from dashboard. Don't create much complexity in template or desgin. For that you have to create connection with your database. After creating crystal report , publish it to BO server.

2.Then Open Dashboard , Connect your BO server using live office connection.

You can use refresh button in dashboard, so that when ever you click on this button , Dashboard will fetch the latest data from database through live office connection /crystal report.

There should intermediate between dashboard and database , so you are using crystal report ,  that's why we using live office connection .

I am In confusion Right Now that

we are suing Crystal Server 2013, Microsoft 2007 There is No Live Office

How to Get the Live office ?

Do we have Up date the Excel / or do we have to Purchase from Bo enterprise Suit ?

Live office is an Add-ON software provided by SAP . You have to install live office with same version of dashboard .
