Hi Experts,

We are using SAP PI 7.3[dual stack] version to set up up new test server in organization. But we are unable to see nodes like sender agreement, receiver agreement and all while creating any senario. Please suggest. Also please have a look on attached sreenshot for better understanding.

Regards,

Vishnu Srivastava

Thanks Experts for your valuable comments.

Issue is solved by re-installing all the components back to SLD.

Hi Vishnu,

Please verify what installation you have made.

Find below screenshot that shows integration builder object in single stack. And in dual stack it must look like the screenshot provided by Inaki.

Yes I check the same with Basis team. They say that it is dual stack

If it is dual stack then are you able to login in ABAP stack of your PI?

Yes I am able to do that, even I can operate many T-codes without any issue

Alright.

It looks strange.

Do below things for just trial,

  1. Go to Start menu>Run> javaws -viewer (Clear all jnlp entries from there and from PI tools launch Integration builder.) OR do the 2nd option.
  2. Go to Administration>Java Web start administration & hit Restore Archives.

Try this and revert.

Hi Visnhu,

I've just remember another similar problem, please check the parameter com.sap.aii.ibrep.core.usage_type in exchange profile is set to XPI:

List of Profile Parameters - Configuring Process Integration After Installation - SAP Library

Hi Inaki,

Agree with you I was about to say this only to check usage type.

Hi,

You can create an Integrated Configuration Object (ICO) instead of sender agreement, receiver agreement etc.

Refer to this doc. http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/700058f0-b1a1-2a10-39a8-ab2627b87...

Hi Dipen,

Thanks for your reply..!!

Yes we can use ICOs but as this is test server so we need other components to be visible.

Vishnu

PI 7.3 EHP1 (PI 7.31)?

SP level?

In PI 7.31, you won't see those options anymore.

Hi Dipen,

I can see them in PI 7.31 dual stack:

Are you sure your PI is a dual stack?

Hi Inaki,

My bad that i didn't noticed that Vishnu has mentioned it dual stack.

So yes, in dual stack those options must be there.

But as Vishnu's system doesn't show those options and as per his provided screen shot it looks like single stack.

Hi Dipen,

I agree with you, his system must be a single stack, it has no sense other problems like an authorization problem for example.

Hi Inaki,

I just confirmed from my Basis team, its Dual stack if 7.3. but still we are unable to see those mentioned components. Any object/add-on is missing..?

Vishnu

Hi Vishnu,

Go to Configuration and Monitoring Home.

You can see the integration Engine if you have a dual system:

By looking at this below screenshot provided by Vishnu, why there is an option of "Configuration Wizard"? While PI single stack doesn't provide this option.

Its confusing. What do you say?

Hi Inaki,

I am unable to see the above option but yes I am able to login to ABAP stack as well. So its dual stack, I guess.
