Hi Abhi
1. In which OS & SAP version /current kernel version & release?
2. You can find the so many links and videos for SAP kernel upgrade in Google & SCN.
3. Refer the SAP Note for Kernel 7.21 upgrade - 1713986 - Installation of kernel 721 (EXT)

Hello Abhi,
check out via transaction SM51 (Button "Release Notes") on what version and OS/DB your SAP System is running.
Find in the "new" SAP support portal under patches
Support Packages and Patches | SAP Support Portal:
Alphabetical List of Products
Under "K" find the section for your OS/DB.
Usually you are downloading a stack, that is matching your application component.
SAP Solution Manager would tell your required stack, when you run a "Maintenance Optimizer" request.
But there are cases, where you just need to update the kernel components and don't need to create a "Maintenance Optimizer" request.
Mostly you would need from the download sections (Support Packages and Patches | SAP Support Portal) the package for database independet (Kernel Part I) and the database (Kernel Part II).
Download them und extract them with sapcar program (sapcar -xvf).
Shutdown your SAP Instance and backup your kernel directory (usr/sap/[SID]/sys/exe/....).
Stop all SAP Services and database services/demons.
Replace the extracted kernel files.
Startup your database/SAP Instance.
I hope that helps.
Best regards
Carlos Behlau
