We use BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST for posting time sheet entries from an external system via IDoc.   Huge number of intercompany  documents are posted between companies in different countries. OSS Note 2088559  (Released in Nov 2014  which  comes with support pack 15 ) says going forward cross company postings between companies in different countries will be prevented with a check routine . The suggested solution is to deactivate the error message at customer's  "own risk".   Has anybody experienced this situation ? What would be the potential consequences if the error is deactivated ?  Is there any other work around other than deactivating the error ?  Any information would be highly appreciated.

Dear Sree,

The note is correct. The system cannot handle intercompany documents for different countries and tax. This is not supported by SAP as of now and if something like this could be posted it was wrong because it was not defined from tax perspective how this is supposed to be handled at all. You should feed separate documents into the bapi for the different companies belonging to different countries.
