Map the license from old GTS system to New GTS system

Hi Experts,

We are upgrading from GTS 7.2 to 10.1 so may you please help me to understand how the mapping of Licenses will br done from old system to new system?

Hi Manish,

"License" you mean import and export license in GTS legal control function, right?

I am not aware of anything needs to do manually after system upgrade. Do you meet any issue in license after upgrade to GTS 10.1?

I think i need to rephrase my question. Actually currently we are working on one GTS system and planning to migrate to other system which will use GTS 10.1. So my question is how we can map licenses from old system to new system?

Hi Manish,

I am not aware any additional steps you need to do manually.

Please check GTS10.1 SP15 note 2151279

There is no additional steps needed for license after upgrade.

Hi Vincent,

We are not doing the upgrade. We are setting up a new system with higher version of SAP GTS.

Hence we need to copy the existing lic from old system to new higher verison system.
