Issue with movement type 303 related to closed period

I´m facing issue with some transfer posting with movement type 303 performed during 2004 and 2005, these period are closed and I´d need to know how to cancel or close this situation, I mean I have materials in stock in transit.

Where is the problem to receive it today, or do you have a time machine?

Hi Jürgen, thanks for your support.

The problem is there is no material to receive, as these movements were pending to receive I´d need to cancel but I can not reverse because there is no physical material.

Whenever there is something in transit then you have to complete the transaction. And this is either a receipt at the receiving place or a receipt at the sending place if you cancel the movement. either action will create inventory that needs to be written off with a second movement. But whatever decision you take it has to be done with the current date.

Have you tried movement type 557 ?

Note: It has accounting effect.
