Hi Experts,
I have activated AVAC with Tolerence Limit and group are ++ and 80%(Warning),90%(Email to Per Resp) and 110%( Error Message).
But It appears that AVAC controls the spending at the Activity level instead at the WBS level.
Though we have enough budget at WBS element level(High Level),when user is trying to create a PO and assigning Network and Activty it giving an Error message saying that Budget Exhausted.
IS this a standard behavior? Please advise.
Hi Srini,
Do you have Budget at WBS element, still you get Budget exhausted message when you assign cost to Activities.

Hi Srini,
Do check reports, whether the Budget is consumed in terms of Commitments planned.
Actual Budget is checked against Actual and Commitments planned. This does not look like standard behaviour. If there is budget in WBS element, system will allow you to plan cost under network activities.
Also you need to consider whether the Budget check configuration is made Total or Annual or release etc.

Hi Srini,
This is standard behavior, WBS is CO- Object, So whatever commitment you post against Network/Activities will consume budget from WBS.
As you said, you have one higher level WBS , So check whether budget is assigned to Lower level WBS against which you are posting Commitment.
Or If you have not distributed budget to lower level WBS, It means you are consuming budget from higher level WBS. So Check how much available budget is there.
Please share the Screenshot of Cj33 and S_alr_87013558.
So that we can analyse the case
Hope it will Help
Thanks

Hi Srini,
I agree wid Pradha,
Network acitvity use budget of its respective WBS.
If you r creating PO with respect to Network/Acitvity. then it wil utilize the budget of WBS on which it is assigned.
Your setting states that Error message at 110% means watever budget is assigned ..it is fully utilized.
How ever if Budget is visible as available . Please check it is also released.
Check settings OPS9 wheather Avac control is activating on Release or overall.
If it is on release then Whatever budget is assigned might be it is not fully released.
I hope it will help

Dear,
It is standard behavior only. You assigned network to WBS element for which budget was assigned.
Kindly check SAP help on the availability control.
