Auto create sales order stock from an outbound delivery

Hi Experts,

I have created an outbound delivery off of a sales order and need to create sales order stock before the delivery can be picked, packed and PGId.  I can manually create a movement type 412 via transaction MBIB (which is unrealistic) and I know we can write a program to call BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to accomplish this; however, I have to believe that SAP has a way to accomplish this via configuration.  Has anyone been able to accomplish this task via standard configuration?

In standard, only individual purchasing scensario will involve sales order stock. Please check standard item category TAB.

In standard, individual purchasing scenario looks like:
sales order -> generate PR automatically -> create PO refering PR -> GR against PO -> create delivery (delivery ATP check is done against order stock) -> pick, pack, PGI.

I don't think there is any standard way to auto-generate order stock after creating delivery.
