SAP DMS BADI use

Dear Experts,

We are using BAdI DOCUMENT_STATUS02,In which we are using the Bapi ‘BAPI_DOCUMENT_SETSTATUS ‘ to modify previous version of DIR

However with this development Revision Level assignment is failing for document (Revision level is not saved on Release)

Please suggest right approach for our requirement.

Hi Niketan,

Due to similar messages in the past I think that maybe the information and solution proposal in SAP note 721166 could be useful for you. Please note that for this solution the mentioned coding needs to be inserted in the BADI method.  I hope that this information could be useful for you and help to solve

this issue.
