SAP PI 7.31 double stack + NWDS

Hello all

I'm looking for following settings. We have PI 7.31 with double stack. I want to create 1 ejb module to change filename in the mail attachment dynamically ( I have found some SCN forums where is this module). I have installed the NWDS with same SP, but in all articles I have found that as prerequisity is to have PI 7.31 in SINGLE stack.

Now I'm bit confused, because I know in the past there were posibilities to create new ejb and deploy it on the server.

Please can you help me to clarify if I can do it or not in 7.31 and how to correctly setup NWDS to achieve this goal?

I'm working with PI for years, but this is for me first time when I need to setup NWDS and do something outside from PI.

Hi,

There is only one constraint that you can not use NWDS to connect to Integration Directory when you have a dual stack PI. For other functionalities NWDS works.

You can develop custom adapter modules in NWDS and deploy it on AS JAVA.

This Single Stack in that article is bit confusing me :-). Do you mean I can still use it?

Hi,

Yes you can. Give a try.

Goto Windows menu>Preferences> AS JAVA add your java server there.

Select your perspective to create EJB project and you can proceed further.
