Not able to export ESR objects using File based transport

Hi Experts,

I am working on SAP PO 7.4 (Single Stack). We are trying to transports ESR objects using File Based Transport, But we are facing below mentioned error.

We have checked in Integration Directory, file based export is working fine, but in ESR while export it is failing.

Please Advice.

Please check GUID of of SWCV in ESR and GUID of SWCV in SLD are in sync. Please confirm following steps told in this blog-

Thanks for your reply.

We have already checked this, the issue is not related to sync with SLD.

System is trying to create zip file, but not able to do so.

1) The reason may be lack of memory ( We checked and there is no issue with space)

2) Not proper authorization ( It is also checked and no issue found related to authorization, even in ID     we can export successfully).

3) It could be with a particular object or SWCV, but we tried with differenct objects and SWCV, but it

    is not working.

4) We were trying to configure CTS+, after that only file based transport stopped working, so there         may be some profile parameters which set wrongly, but we are not able to identify any such

    parameters.

Please suggest.

Hi Shivanjali,

In that case, just check the log overview by replicating issue once again. If the log description says - Exception while deserialization of object. Just do a system restart and try again.

Hi Shivanjali,

Per you last comment. you have checked several points. Try to check is there are any patch available to your PI level and you should to raise a OSS note because the problem seems to be related to your PI installation.

Hi Shivanjali,

Have you created a local software component?, may be the problem could be in that.

Is this issue general or it is only with a particular SWC?, may be you can have problems with a particular object in the SWC.

What is your PI SP level?, have you checked if there is any patch for it?

Hi Shivanjali,

Have you tried to export to local or only in the server?, if in the two ways you can't generate the file, the problem could be a role issue, check the roles and actions: UME Roles and Actions (AS Java) - SAP Process Integration Security Guide - SAP Library

If in local it is success generation and in server fails, the problem could a path permissions OS issue.

Thanks for the quick reply.

We have all the roles assigned to the user. And we tried both ways.. generate file on client as well as on server, but every time facing the same issue.

And as I told earlier it is working fine with Integration Directory but failing in ESR.

Did you check the default trace when you get that error which should give your more detailed information?
