Internal Catalog Shopping Cart

Hi Gurus,

I have few queries on internal catalog view in SRM 7.

1. When I open any internal catalog in SRM, it is not by default showing the catalog items. It is showing catalog items only when we click on "ALL" url in the below screenshot

                                      

2. What is the default count of catalog items displayed on the simplified shopping cart? In our case if the total catalog items count is 10, it is not displaying the items on the shopping cart screen until unless we click on "Shopping Cart" option on the top of the screen.

If the count is below 9 we have all the items displayed on the shopping cart. Is this the actual behaviour of the system or do we have any option to change the item count value?

Dear Sanjay,

Please check the configuration options available in SRM MDM Catalog Configuration UI.

You can launch the Config UI using the URL :

http://<J2EE_SERVER>:PORT/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM?

After opening the Config UI, you will be required to enter MDM Server name, then the credentials to Repository.

You don't say but we assume you are using SRM-MDM in which case you need to examine the configuration options in the Java-based (Web Dynpro) search user interface of the SRM-MDM Catalogue. It is here you can control the look and feel of the catalogue search, how you want the initial view to appear. This is controlled on a per user basis.
