Test Plan with Sequence - Disable TC User check

Dear community,

we are using SAP Solman 7.1 Test Management with the Workflow functionality.

Sometimes, we require that a different user than the one assigned to a specific Test Case in a sequence confirms the test. In our configuration, this is not possible - only the user that is entered in the sequence can edit the TC status. Is this something that can be configured via customizing or an enhancement?

Hi Axel.

I think that there is no customizing or enhancement to disable this functionality but in general it is process problem. On the other hand, you can remove specific user from test case, leave test case in sequence, and add another tester to test package. In that case new tester will be able to set status and it is up to test manager to decide who should do that, and ensure that he/she will.
