Create sales orders with reference, without copying the associated DRAD records

We have recently begun associating  test report document  info records (ZTR) to our sales order object VBAP in DRAD via object key sales order/item.  However when creating a new sales order with reference,  new  DRAD table entries  are being created  with the old orders DRAW document numbers and the new orders object key.   How can we prevent this from occurring?          We created a user exit in VA01(SAPMV45A INCLUDE MV45AFZZ to delete these new records, however they are being recreated  after the user exit executes in SAPMV45A  include MV45AF0B_BELEG_SICHERN_VORBERE perform  DOKUMENTE_UMBENENNEN.   Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi John,

the only way I see is using BAdI DOCUMENT_OBJ2->LINKS_UPDATE and save the DRAD information in a customer table. In a separate customer report started as a regular job this table is read and the links from DRAD are deleted.

That's what we were thinking but hoped to find a more direct solution. We're going with it..
