How to copy data from SAP table to screen personas flavour

Hello SAP

I ´m trying to learn how to use SAP screen personas version 2.0

We are using SAP 7.30 together with Screen personas

My question is

Why cant i copy values from a table in SAP with the command Copy Value. (inside a script) see row 8 above

I can set the value into the field with the command paste value, but when I try to copy the value only get the error message "control not found"

For example

I want to copy data from the transaction mm01 or mm02 and the table below

e.g. description, Unit, lab office

into my screen personas flavor

Why can I not do that? What do I do wrong?

Hopefully you can help me

Best regards

Peter Sundberg

There are no tables in that screen. You are talking about copying values from individual fields, and you need to copy each field (description, unit, lab, etc.) separately.

If there were tables, you would use the CopyTable action, not the CopyValue action, as Swathi Vakati has said.

Hi Peter

As far as my understanding, you are not able to copy a value from table.

To copy any value from table "copy value" option will not work. We need to do "copy table" and then access the value by "calculate in java script".

see this script this might be helpful for you.

(This can be used only when you are accessing a particular row and column each time. we have hard coded the row and column here).

Swathi.

Hi Swathi,

If a user clicks on a particular cell in the grid display, is there a way to know which row & column.

Thanks
