Hello Akshay,
What is your requirement and why you want to make entries in host files.? Is it to access SAP system or configuration between ECC and PI.?
Btw you can follow Ram's instruction for maintaining host file.

Hi,
I am having Two sap system one is PI(A) and another is ECC(B)
Could you please elaborate the above in details in regards hardware infrastructure on which you installed these two systems.
If the systems on virtual management then you need to specify individual IP & host entries for each system, but this would be applicable after your elaboration of issue.

Hi Akshay,
You need to maintain the ip address of your virtual & physical server in the /etc/hosts files.
<ip address> <FQDN> <alias hostname>
and in /etc/services you need to maintain the sapms<SID> <port> for your both systems.
sapdpXX 32XX/tcp
sapgwXXs 48XX/tcp
sapmsXX 36XX/tcp
Also the standard sap services like of sapdp, sapgw & etc along with there port numbers.
so that you can communicate over those ports when your systems are integrated.
Let us know if you need any further inputs on same.
Regards,
Ram
