HCI-DS write into Z table in ECC or third party application

Can any one share experience or knowledge of  HCI-DS capability to directly write into ECC Z table or third party application Z table.

Writing into Z table is possible. provided Z table is on cloud HANA DB.

Do you means if ECC Z table is on premise and not cloud HANA DB , HCI can't write into it.

Hi Manish,

Certainly possible. but either of the source or target should be on cloud SAP application i.e Ariba, Successfactor, SOP etc.

If both are on premise systems then no use of HCI . Data service would suffice the purpose.

Hi Brijesh,

The scenario is that Z table is in ECC on Premise /Target System and Source system is SOP on Cloud. HCI is already written into SAP standard tables.

Can you please elaborate technical details on HCI writing into ECC on Premise Z table where Source system is on cloud.

Have you read the guide http://help.sap.com/download/ibp/ibp50_hci_integration.pdf chapter 2.2.8 in the HCI help documentation.

It provides helpful information how to post IBP data into external application (e.g. APO system) which should be smiliar to ERP 6.0 system.
