Adapter engine version information missing in the SLD

Hi Experts,

I Have changed uid and pwd in my cc,while saving the changes in ID the following message has appeared. can you please advice how to rectify this issue;

Error Message:  Unable to check whether Communication channel is compatible with selected adapter engine since verison information for adapter is missing in the SLD.

Hi MM,

What is the background of this issue? Have you made any changes on the system e.g. an upgrade, SP update etc?

There may be some Configuration Wizards that you need to run.

Also, check the SP release for the SAP BASIS ESR content. This should match the overall system SP release. See note 1575249 How to check the patch level of the PI Basis content.
