Distributed Environment EHP upgrade using SUM SP12.

What approach to take to upgrade System in distributed System? We have CI, DB, and Application on all different BOX. We are using SUM SP12 to upgrade. Is application server also upgraded when we run SUM on CI.

Could you provide more details about system which you are upgrading ?

Is it a ABAP only system, Java only system or Dual stack system .

Hi,

We have ABAP System . We are upgrading to EHP 7 from EHP 4.

I have just the doubt about the, application servers upgrade .( How that will be upgraded ).

Hi ,

During SUm run you will be asked if you want to upgrade the additinal application instance also.
You should find more details in SUM guide.
