SRM 7.0 Off-line approval- work item not processed

Hi ,

We are using SRM 7.0 . We have configured Off-line approval for SC and works well.

However , sometimes when the approver  approves/rejects the SC , work item does not get processed. The approver does not know that the SC approved/rejected has not been processed.

Can a return mail be configured , such that , if the work item does not get processed , the approver will get mail - saying work item did not get processed because of xxx reason ? With such mail, approver can take appropriate action and sort out the issue.



Can anybody please guide me on this ?

Hello Pankaj,

Could you check in your system if you have implemented note 1903266 -" Potential information disclosure relating to offline approval" or if you are on a later support package? If you have this code in your system then please view KBA 2072703 - "Incoming offline approval emails are not processed" as that should fix the issue. Hopefully this helps you.

Hi Pankaj,

Can a return mail be configured

- Configuration of return mail is not possible in standard SAP SRM.

Also, could you please specify whether you are using Synchronous processing/Asynchronous processing" for processing the Inbound mails from the Approvers.
