In installation document request from me the below:
5.15 Setting Environment Variable CPIC_MAX_CONV
1. Log on to your SAP system as a user with administration rights.
2. Call transaction RZ10.
3. Set the value gw/max_conn_per_wp to a higher value (at least 200) and restart the system.
What did I do:
1-I logged in new created client (100) usin user with administrative rights.
2-I called trasaction RZ10
3-I saw that: There are 3 profiles and many version
DEFAULT
BXD_DVEBMGS00_BRCKXITS
START_DVEBMGS00_BRCKXITS
I check extended maintenance.
I selected DEFULT and I added gw/max_conn_per_wp with value 205. DEFAULT profile did not accept this parameter. After activation ,I pressed display button but I did not see that parameter.
I tyred with BXD_DVEBMGS00_BRCKXITS I saw the same result like that of DEFAULT.
What must I do to add gw/max_conn_per_wp parameter?
Thanks?
I manually added that parameter in DEFULT.PFL.
I used vi editor in Unix System.

import the profile rz10 --> utilities --> import all profiles --> from active servers. and then try to modify the parameters.

Hi,
Once you add the profile to the page you need to restart the machine, the cluster for affect to take place.
That's all. I think the information need to be added to the instance profile file. Hope as a post installation activity you have already imported all the profiles from the active servers.
