Hi Gurus,
An wildcard certificate (valid for multiple servers) has to be imported from STRUST, in multiple servers
This certificate is signed by Verizon
But we are able to import this wildcard certificate ONLY into the system where the initial PSE certificate generate request, was generated
I have referred SAP Note 1473710 - STRUST: How to Export/Import a PSE from/to STRUST but this is not helpful
Can you please advise on this

Hello Sandy,
If you have a PKCS#12 with the wildcard certificate, then you can convert it into a PSE file and replace the entire PSE, i.e. all the application servers will be able to use the same certificate.

Hi Sandy,
please check the following.
Go to STRUST
double click on "SSL Server Standard"
Then check the certificate on the right side (serial number).
After that double click on the applicationservername shown under "SSL Server Standard".
for example: myservername_SID_00
Check again the certificate on the right side (serial number).
Are they the same?
If not, you have 2 certificates, one on system level and one on server level.
Then it depends from which certificate you created the cert sign request.
Next check:
Right click on SSL Server Standard - > and select "change".
There you can see, if you have instance specific certificates.
If you want to use only one certificate (systemwide) for all your appservers, the "Instance-Specific PSEs" List must be empty.
For example, a signed certificate (the "self signed" text is gone).

Manuel
