GRC 10.1 SW download

Hi all,

Our requirement is to install GRC10.1 and configure for EAM(on ECC) and ARA(on GRC).

I have downloaded the media "51046221" and got following components:

GRCFND_A_V1100_INST

GRCPIERP_V1100_700_UPGR

GRCPIERP_V1100_700_INST

GRCPINW_V1100_700_UPGR

GRCPINW_V1100_700_INST

GRCPINW_V1100_710_UPGR

GRCPINW_V1100_710_INST

GRCPINW_V1100_731_UPGR

GRCPINW_V1100_731_INST

From the installation guide reading I understood that:

GRCFND  - Portal (we will not be using it)

GRCPINW - Non HR (This will go on ECC)

GRCPIERP - HR (This will go on ECC)

Below are my questions:

1) Is my understanding on the above three components correct?

2) Where can I find the media for ARA component: Location specified in the installation guide is not available(Installations and Upgrades--> A - Z Index--> R -->SAP Risk ManagementSAP Risk Management 10.1), not surprised.

3) Can I use "GRCPIERP_V1100_700_UPGR" for ECC system on EHP7, release 740?

4) We have both VIRSANH and VIRSAHR in our existing ECC system, So I believe we need both GRCPINW & GRCPIERP. what version of GRCPINW component should I use:700, 710 or 731(If I'm installing GRCPIERP_V1100_700_UPGR for HR).

Please let me know if more clarification is needed and sorry if there is any confusion.

Thanks for your reply. It answered my questions 3 & 4. I actually read these notes earlier 1855405 &  1855404 but didn't paid much attention.

Could you also please help me with the below question:

Hello,

I don't think we need to install separately for ARA component,

Once GRC software is installed in system,we need to perform the post installation activities for

respective components(ARA,BRM,ARM and EAM).

I will install GRCPIERP_V1100_700_INST and GRCPINW_V1100_731_INST on ECC system for the plugins\EAM.

We have separate system for GRC ARA, do you mean I have to install the same GRCPINW_V1100_731_INST

component on it?

Hello Bobby,

In General,

We will install GRCFND_A add on in  GRC system and install plug ins GRCPIERP_V1100_700_INST and GRCPINW_V1100_731_INST on ECC system.

Then we will start post installation activities for respective components,in your case ARA.
