SAPLRZIO RESOLVE_SELECTION_OBJECT-01- error when trying to run query in BEx 7

We're testing queries in a new BW system and most work fine, however some fail immediately when you try to open them with the following error "X MESSAGE BRAIN 299: SAPLRZI0 RESOLVE_SELECTION_OBJECT-01-". SM21 and RSRT just say the same thing.

Anyone seen this before? Or can anyone suggest any likely suspects?

The way we resolved this was to disable, save and then re-enable and save the "By OLD DB for OLAP" option in the Advanced tab of Properties within BEx Query Designer for each query that wouldn't run. Don't entirely understand this, but it looks like something was blocking the queries from being compiled successfully on the new system. Saving them without the option ticked and saving them again with the option ticked cleared this problem and they run successfully now.

Can you try to run it from other system. Also check with other user ID.

If it is not working in any machine and with any ID. Try to check with Basis for your BEx client version is compatible with BW version or not.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. The queries run perfectly fine in the original system. And we've tried with different accounts but we get the same results.
