Hello Mobility experts,
We have Afaria SP5 HF11 and Motorola TC70 device on Android 4.4
The question is how can we install certificate on device via Afaria? I know, that we have this option in iOS configuration policcy, but I did not find any solution for Android. Maybe we need to script a chanel? Please advice.
Thanks and regards,
Andrey
Hello Andrey,
As I know, this is not possible via Afaria for Android.
For your request, I would recommend to open a Feature Request at the side of the Product Management: https://ideas.sap.com/MobileSecure

Hello Andrey,
As per my colleague, unfortunately Afaria doesn't have this option for Android. All you can do is to submit an idea in this page with link: https://ideas.sap.com/SAPBusinessObjectsMobile/submit and this will be considered by the Engineering/Product team and will work on that accordingly.
Thank you for your valuable suggestion/idea.
Kind Regards,

Andrey,
You can send one x509 identity certificate if this happens to be a Samsung Safe device. You would make a configuration policy and under the Samsung Safe section you can select security. Then enable the install certificate. At this time it is limited to only one security policy. As Hakan has mentioned previously, for any other device type other than Samsung Safe, I would recommend placing a feature request.
