Hi,
we are facing an issue regarding the C4C sales document print preview for recent orders and orders created out of an opportunity directly in ECC.
We have enabled the required communication arrangement and also the service on the ECC side as well as the HCI iFlow.
If we click on an ECC document in C4C no PDF could be retrieved. There is no log at all on the HCI side. It looks like it is not even trying to connect.
Can anyone help us on this important topic (what did we miss, what is wrong, ....)?
Thank you and best regards
Florian
Hi everyone,
problem solved.
To find it, it was a little bit tricky. The ECC itself is around 15 years old. At the very beginning, the standard print program "RVADOR01" was copied in 2000. During the years some additional functionality was added to the standard program used for SAPscript forms. This copy misses all these functions. We had to adjust it to allow the PDF execution for SAPscript forms. The related SAP note is 1432693. After making these adjustments, PDF preview in C4C works.
Cheers
Florian

Florian,
Have you verified the EHP version of you ECC system? Your ECC should be on EHP4 to see PDF of Sales document under Account/Opportunity in C4C.

Hi Florian,
Print Preview CA contains two outbound services so could you please check only one service is selected at a time?

Hi Florian,
This is all that you need to configure to use this feature:
· Configure the comm. arrangement – Business Document Flow Query from SAP Business Suite
· Install the support package for the add-on released in March
· Install the latest PI support pack or download the latest HCI iFlows
Before we dwelve into the details, can you please check if you have installed the ECC and PI support packs.
Thanks, Sapna
