REFX settlement cannot find cost element

Hi Mandy,

From the initial error message, it appears that you have not maintained the ''Receiver Category" in the allocation structure.

SPRO  > Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) > Controlling > Actual Postings > CO Settlement > Edit Settlement Structure

Choose the Allocation Structure "PM" - there you check the settlement cost elements which 'Receiver Category" is assigned, There assign BE and select the ''By Cost Element'' check box and then try settle.

Hi,

To do the CO settlement on any cost object , it is necessary to define cost center details.

That cost center has to maintained in the CO Settlement rule. You have to maintain it from IW32

I have maintained cost center in settlement rule like this:

BE 1000/1000 50%

CTR 1000        50%

but when I do KO88 the error like this:

Define a settlement cost element for receiver type BE

Message no. KD506

Diagnosis

In allocation structure PM (controlling area 1000), you did not define which
cost element should be used when settling costs/revenues of the sender. Nor did
you define receiver type BE.

Procedure

Assign a different allocation structure to the settlement sender (->
Master data -> Settlement rule -> Goto -> Settlement parameters), or
maintain allocation structure PM.

Hi Mandy,

You have maintained two CO settlement rules, In one rule reciever is Cost Center..in the other rule reciever is not a cost center . Maintain Cost Centre in both the rule and check.
