Alerts in SOLMAN 7.1

Dear SCN members,

I'm working on configuring the System Monitoring in 7.1 .I have executed following steps :

-System Preparation -> Green

-Basic Configuration -> Green

- Managed Systems Configuration -> Green

-Technical Monitoring -> green

Via solman_workcenter-> Technical Monitoring ->System Monitoring I'm accesing the status of the system.

Pressing configuration button I can create alerts for a specific object.

Now I want to setup the frequency of the alerts but th Advanced Settings is disabled.

Question: Where should I maintain these options from Advanced Settings?See screenshot.

Example:_ Send additional notification

Hi,

You can go to Solman_setup->technical monitoring-> Step 2.3 Default settings and then notifications, go in EDIT mode and perform the settings that you want.

done  but Advanced Settings still disabled...can't change this...see screenshot

Hi Andy

I hope you are in edit mode and I doubt it may be authorization issue.

for example check the authorization object B_NOTIF_BC, B_NOTIF_IB or SM_NOTI_TA.

The advance setting is disabled becuase you are in read only mode. please change to edit mode.

Hello,

I'm in edit mode. I have checked also the Authorization objects and compared the roles from SOLMAN_ADMIN

I have tested also with SOLMAN_ADMIN but  the same behavior ..Advance Settings can't be edited.

Hello,

On my system the only to get the Advanced settings enabled is via Technical Monitoring->Point  2.3

Select Notifications->Maintain Notificatios Variants->Edit Mode
