How to use Program RSWUWFML2 for sending Workitems in mail.

HI,

Am using the Program RSWUWFML2 and when i execute this am getting some Standard Lines in the Workitem.

Am getting this Message:

Your Workflow inbox in the SAP system QG6, client 450,
contains the following work
item:

------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Open

the SAP shortcut attachment in order to process the work item.

If you

have any problems logging on, contact your system administrator.      

Kindly suggest how to delete this message and Line.

ITs urgent??? Any idea??????

Execute the report. Take a look to the selection screen. There are fields for defining the text for the email (SWU* something).

Open transaction SE61. Choose dialog text. Enter the text name that you found from the report selection screen. This is the text in the email. Now create your own dialog text and use that text in the report instead of the standard ones.

And perhaps you can forget everything I just said and take a look to Extended Notifications...

Thanks for your response.

Its done. It was parameter missing in the selection screen so that it was coming wrong Subject and that Extra content in the workitem mail.

Hi,

If you want full control over the message body for workitems then you have to switch from old, unsupported technology to extended notifications (SWN_SELSEN).
