hiring without OM PA integration

Hi Experts ,

Can we perform hiring action without PA - OM integration (PLOGI ORGA) ?

If yes then HOW ?
If no the WHY?

Hi,

Adding to venkat, after creation of OM objects liks O S C and their relationships, while hiring employee through PA40 for assigning position, job and org. unit you have to manually maintain (F4 help). if OM-PA is integrated default objects will assing after assigning position. here no integration user has to assign manually.

As far i know it depends but both the ways we can handle it.

Integration switch is on i.e the objects which we are creating in OM module will get update in OM tables, PA tables as well which are V_T527X, V_528B_C T513 so all objects are available in PA table we can utilize them while performing actions etc.

In case Integration switch is not on i.e Objects which we created in OM transactions will not be availble in PA table now we have to push them manually by using RHINTE reports then all will get updated in PA table, This is repeated process when you create objects execute report then later same process utilize them perform actions under PA.

Hi Abhijit,

Yes, we can perform hiring action with out PA -- OM Integration.

For this we need to maintain object types in PA configuration tables(V_T527X - Org units, V_528B_C - Positions, T513 & V_T513S - Jobs) with using these objects in Hiring action you can perform any action in PA with out OM.
