Change the default login client for SICF services in ECD

Dear guru's and all

Some guidance is needed here as I am very new to SAP FIORI

Problem:

The system's default parameter is client900

While testing on UI5 services through transaction SICF, I noticed that the default client is set to 800 instead of 900.

Can anyone please guide me on how to properly reconfigure this by pointing it to 900 instead of 800?

Hi Abdul Hadi,

Can you double click on the service "zui5_with_mvc" and check under logon data if you have maintained any client.

Thank you for your reply.

I am able to set the default client to 900 by using "Alternative Logon Procedure" only as in screenshot below.

However, when changing back to "Standard" with client 900 maintained in the field, I still get default client 800. This does not happen with other services.

I'm still looking for clues as it might pose other difficulties later on when transporting to production.

Guidance is much appreciated.

Hi Soo Choo Pong,

Can you deactivate that particular service "zui5_with_mvc"and then activate it and then test it, it may work.

We just tried that and it doesn't change the outcome.

Still getting the same client 800.

HI,

In SICF, go to ->external aliases -> expand default_host, look for the service "zui5_with_mvc"

double click on that and check if client 800 is maintained in logon data.
