ECC DIMP ACTIVIATION

Dear All,

I successfully upgrade the ecc 6.0 ehp 7 via sum.

when I run transaction sfw5 and click on discrete industries /Mill Prod

the message display  upgrade sap _APPL 617 and other patches.

I already upgrade SAP_APPL and other patches via SUM but still getting the message

please guide me how can I activate ECC DIMP ?

Hi Saqlain,

To Activate ECC DIMP, your system should have the Technical usage "Discrete Ind & Mill Products"

Installed.

It means SAP-APPL and ECC-DIMP Components should be at some minimum SP level.

You have to use MOPZ and select " Enhancement Package Installation" .

And on the screen "Select technical Usage" you have to select "Discrete Ind & Mill Products"

Also on the same screen make sure the SP level of your EHP is same as in your current system(since you have installing a technical usage and not performing EHP upgrade).

Then it will select the required packages of (SAP-APPL and ECC-DIMP).

Then you can continue with your upgrade.

Dear Mohammad,

As I mention first I upgrade the server through MOPZ and my SAP ECC server SAP_APPL and other patches are updated

please see the attached snaps

but still the message is showing upgrade APPL

Dear Adil,

SAP APPL is updates with latest SP 8 , this is last APPL patch and my DIMP patch is updated to level 26
