Inspection lot status: Archiving

Hi;

I’m trying to flag an inspection lot as “Lot blocked for archiving” (status ARBL) using RQRQAB00.

The following active system statuses are displayed for lot:

UD          Usage decision has been made

PASG     Plan/specification assigned

CCTD     Insp. characteristics created

CALC      Sample calculated

DEF        Defects were recorded

STIC       Short-term insp. completed

ICCO      All inspections completed

SPRQ     Quantity posting required

SPCO     Stock posting completed

STUP     Statistics updated

SAP only allows changes to UD (QA12) but blocks changes to Inspection lot (QA02) due to UD status.

I’m guessing that status SPRQ is causing lot not to archive... What action should be executed to remove/deactivate this status?

I’m confused by fact that both SPRQ and SPCO are active – thought only one can be active at any given time?

Hello,

Maybe there is  an inconsistency between status (JEST) and usage decision (QAVE).

You can try to apply note 174877.

Unfortunately this note does not apply to my scenario since all the inspection lots do contain entries in QAVE.

Hi,

Status SPRQ should not be active to archive inspection lot.

There isn't an official note with a report to reset status SPRQ but if this problem is just with one inspection lot you could change the value of the status.
