Hi Navanit,

These are two fully different kind of files:

  • .srf files are xml files describing a form to display or the updates to apply to an existing form,
  • .ard file is the file describing the addon, file which is mandatory by B1 during the registration of the addon.

By the way, srf files can be created with ScreenPainter, Business One Studio or by "hand" (which is what I prefer and I'm doing); while ard file are created by the AddOnRegDataGen tool from the SDK Tools.

Dear Navanit,

what i am asking ?

You were asking how to convert an SRF file to an ARD File.

And what You are replying

replied you exactly what you were asking !

He had spent time to answer your query even though your question is very vague.

Either your english skill, or you are being rude.

I will not alert the moderator for this post, but if there is a thumb down button I will definitely vote it.

Dear Edy,

Thanks for your post... But from my point, the only good answer was... to not answer even if I am thinking the same.
