HCI - Request Pricing Mapping

Hello all,

Is it possible to extend the Request Pricing mapping for Sales Quote?

Look at the HCI iFlow and there is no message mapping for request and response at all. (Unlike PI where we can change the request and response mapping)

Any ideas?

Hi Tommy,

Is your requirement to send pricing from COD to ON-Premise ?

If yes, it can be acheived through SDK Studio .

Hello,

The requirement is to Request Pricing from External System (e.g. SAP CRM)

We have an extension field in C4C and how do we pass the extension field as part of the request when there are not HCI mappings available?

When you click on option for Request External Pricing and submit the document. Create a follow-up document and while doing so the mappings for the extension field will be avaialble in HCI at this level.

You may try this and confirm.

Hello,

Thank you. However we would like to Request External Pricing and not Creating a follow up document.

Does anyone have other ideas?

Hello Tommy,

As we can see there is no mapping involved for Fetching Price for Sales Quote, so you have no mapping to modify here in middleware. But why don't you try to make the desirable changes on C4C side and add them for the Pricing service call? (Further Usage)

I have not worked on this, so actually don't know if this is possible for complex customization, but you can try if the customization is just to add extension field and send it directly to the OnPrem system.

Hope this helps, keep me posted in case if you try this.

If we add an extension field in C4C, it needs to be mapped somewhere so that the field goes correctly to the other side.

Does anyone know what to do in this situation??

Hello Tommy,

My assumption is, If you add the field to the C4C service it should be sent to the target system as it is without any modification as there is no mapping in middle, you will only have to figure out how it is to be populated into the target field of the target system.
