tablespace 'PSAP<SID>USR' does not exist Error

Hi Guys,

During import of my oracle 9.2 database on the target server, sapinst fails after creating all the tablespaces. It tries to assign user SAP<SID> to default tablespace PSAP<SID>USR which I did not create.

I copied the DDLORA.TPL file from source system to the installation directory of the target system. I replaced the one which the installation creates with the one from the source system. The one which sapinst creates has all these default tablepaces and system, temp, undo tablespaces but the original one doesnt.

Why is it still looking for these tablespace? which file is it reading? what else do i need to change?

This is an ECC5 AIX->Linux migration.

Please help.

Thanks

Cyrus

Hi,

I had chosen the new schema and that was the problem. Thats why it was looking for these new tablespaces.

I redid everything and kept the old schema and it was fine.

Thanks
