Relationship category BUR001 is locked in change request # (MDG_BS_BP 015)

Hi All,

We are trying to create a Mass Change Request .

The process that we follow is :

1) Create Mass Change Request

2) Use the "File Download" functionality of MDG anand download a set of data for
entity type  “workplace Address : E-mail Address” .

3)We then change the email addresses of few Business Partners as required and upload this "File Upload" funcitonality of MDg to upload this file into the Mass Change Request created in step 1.We are successfully able to do the "File Upload" and we the data in the Mass Change Request.

4) Now, when we open this Mass Change Request and try to "Save" or "Activate" it , we get the error : "Relationship : relationship  cateogory BUR001 is locked in Change Request XXXX " . This error message class is MDG_BS_BP and message no. is '015'

We would like to know if anyone has any idea about this error and its solution.

Is some configuration required for Mass Change Requests ???

The issue can be solved by implementing SAP note 2115204 .

Hi Hardik,

workplace addresses are subobjects of business partner relationships. Changing the same requires that the related parent relationship is locked in your mass CR. This does not work if the related parent relationships is already locked in a different CR. It's forbidden to lock the same relationship in two different CRs at the same time.

Hello Michael,

We are not using two different CR's.

We created mass change request 3113.

Did file download for some test data , changed the email ID's in the file and uploaded this file using the File Upload into the same change request 3113.

Now when we open the change request 3113 and try to 'Save' or 'Activate' it we get the error :

"Relationship : relationship  cateogory BUR001 is locked in Change Request 3113 " .

Thus,it is giving error for the same change request 3113.

This error message class is MDG_BS_BP and message no. is '015'

How can we solve this error ?
