User master import running slow in ECC

Hi all,

We have performed refresh from production to our sandbox system. User master import is running for almost 48 hours and still in  the same table SOFM and SAPFS00 report. I checked the jobs and check wait event analysis , all are updating. I have run the stats for the table also. Kindly let me know anything else can be done for speeding up it.

Regards,

/usr/sap/trans/tmp and /usr/sap/trans/log should give you a clue

- whether your import is actually doing something or not

If its true that you are just importing user master (and not a SAP_ALL client exported profile), then indeed 48 hours is waaaay to long.

if your transport is not doing anything, it is possible that tp process could waiting for a lock to a file e.g. *.lob in the /usr/sap/trans/tmp or log directory

Hi All,

It has completed after executing the statistics for the tables. It took around 54 hours.

Hello Karthik,

It could be because of old statistics or full datafile or log file.

Check whether the statistics are up to date.

Check whether file or tablespace fill level is not 100%.

Hi karthik,

You can also check followings:

1. Go to DBACOCKPIT & check if any DB locks are existed.

2. Check SM21 if any database connection issue is happening.

3. Try to import a dummy TR & check if it's getting imported (in case any issue , you can have a look t buffer file entry & STMS consistency ).

Please let me know your findings.
