Reminder alert in contract

Hi,

     How to get reminder alert to mail for a contract? i,e For maintenance contract, on a particular day i need to create service orders. For that i need a reminder to mail, so that i can create service orders on that date. Please kindly help me in solving this problem.

two possible solutions:

1. create a report say TO DO LIST. it will calculate the required actions based on the dates in contract. Your user will execute it every day to see what are the pending actions for today?

2. execute the above report in background every night and trigger an email for all the required actions.

Hi Sravani,

Create mail sending programer  and background schedule for everyday with Help of Technical Consultant and Basics Consultant.

This requirement can be achieved with the help of a Workflow Consultant.  There is a path in configuration Management of Internal Controls > Workflow > Email Notification
