Deduction for Accommodation

Hi All,

I have a requirement wherein the deduction for accommodation checkbox should be apply to 1st day instead of the 2nd day.

For example: If an employee is going on 2 day trip, in that case the checkbox for deduction for accommodation for 1st day is greyed out and the option to select the checkbox is only for 2nd day.

The system does not allow to report accommodation for the first day but allows to do it for the last day ( that employee is getting back home so is not staying overnight)

It should be on the other side around. Blocking the accommodation report for last day of travel but allowing report accommodation for the first day.

Regards

Hi,

accommodation concept is for "overnight". This "over" means ending on the next day or technically after 0:00 o'clock. (Means at least 0:01 o'clock)

If a person is back at home before or exactly at 0:00 o'clock no accomodation can be paid with this concept.

In your description "last day but allowing accommodation..." - is the day following the day before - so an overnight payment is possible.

In this case it does not matter that this is the last day of the trip. Because the focus is on the overnight. So the day before the overnight took place

Hope this explains the concept a little bit more in detail.

Best regards, Sigi
