SOAP (Axis) HTTP Adapter

Hi PI Experts,

Need your help here.

I have created SOAP HTTP(Axis) receiver Adapter for Proxy to SOAP SYNC scenario  in SAP PI 7.4 AEX and using SOAP version 2.1 in channel

Facing 2 issues here:

1. Getting error " error in system" when tried pinging the channel from channel monitoring

2. when tried sending messages from SOAP UI tool ,message are getting expired and failing with timed out error.

I tried searching many threads but unfortunately got no concrete answers.

Can some one please help me ..

Have you checked the axis jars are correctly installed?. ()

Hi Inaki,

I am able to open the below URL and status is OK.

http://PIHostname:port/XIAxisAdapter/MessageServlet.

Do I still need to check if axis jars are correctly installed?

Hi Inaki, I am getting Synchronous time out error in this channel and messages are getting expired with Read timed out error. Below setting I have done in channel: URL of webservice: as provided by ws team Authentication basic with user name and password. SOAP version: 1.2 Soap action: as provided by ws team Encapsulation format: MIME XI paramerters: keep XI headers: unchecked Keep attachments: unchecked Payload extraction: SOAP body Can you please help to resolve the issue? hi SV,

have u configured proxy details in Soap channel? if not you can add that..

there could be this is the one of the reason to get time out errror.

Hi Sarvjeet,

Try to open URL end point into PI server web explorer, It's look you can't reach the end point.

Check with basis guys to give you acces to that URL from PI Server.

Web services URL is opening in browser in PI server.

When I tried pinging SOAP (Axis) receiver channel , getting error in system.
