HTTP Sender adapter Time out

Hi,

We are on PI 7.1 and have 3rd party connected to us via HTTP.

While the process works fine with smaller file, when the sender sends huge file ( 3 MB payload), its giving time out on sender side.

However, PI is receiving  the file properly and getting processed, I am thinking of increasing timeout parameter but would like see any further option on this

Hi Techie,

It's a good idea to increase http timeout but you have to consider if the timeout is raised by the sender application and not the PI. Try to test your scenario by your own with the 3MB payload, and in this way you can distinguish if the problem is the PI timeout or a sender application timeout.
