Carton Putaway- Distributed putaway in multiple bins

Dear All

Is there a  solution/way of doing putway of carton Handling units  by  scanning the source Pallet HU.. It is sort of on the fly putaway of cartons from the pallet  without seperate deconsolidation.

Eg: A pallet is received with around 20 cartons and the complete pallet will be moved and cartons are done with distributive putaway in 5 bins each of 4  cartons capacity

Plan  is to not to take it to deconsolidation station and at the same time retain/leverage on  the source Pallet identification .

Hello Duraiajan,

How are you receiving these HUs. As a single consolidated and Pre-Packed(Packing in ECC) HUs. or you are receiving as individual HUs? If you are receiving as individual HUs, Deconsolidation is not required.

if you are receiving as consolidated HUs, to segregate your HUs or to make sub HUs, you need Deconsolidation or repacking activity.

It is consolidated Pallet /Trolley HU and not receiving individual carton HU's..

To carry out the above example, Deconsolidation is the best option.

Plan  is to not to take it to consolidation station and at the same time retain/leverage on  the source Pallet identification .

If you wanted to retain the source Pallet information, I would suggest you to try with disabling Stock Identification option in Deconsolidation Storage Type.

Or. you can implement, your own BADI to retain your own stock identification.
