Approve/Reject Own request setting in EUP does not work

Hi All

As the requirement ,we want to make sure that user should apporver their own request.

I have defined the Approve/Reject own request field as NO ,Define the field as not editable and not visible and maintain the EUP id under task settings in MSMP  but then also the user is able to approve his request

Scenario: User GRC_ADMIN has created request for himself to add a single role with role approver GRC_ADMIN.As per the expectation when the role request comes to GRC_ADMIN for approval it should say "You are not allowed to approve your own request" but GRC_ADMIN is able to submit the request to the next stage.

Please advice me if i am missing any step here.

Hi Nitesh,

did you follow my document? http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-55401

Make sure that the EUP config is done for each stage (Manager and Roleowner).

Please share screenshots of your configuration if you need further details.

okay - settings seem to be correct. What is your current SP? There are some notes in this regard:

Please see the system details:

One more thing in   the EUP ID 900,910,920 is random number or they have any significance because as per our requirement approval takes place only at GRAC_ROLEOWNER stage,So can we use Default EUP ID instead of creating a new EUP id?.

Dear Nitesh,

it's random numbers I have used in my test scenario. In your screenshot you have maintained 920 (EUP ID) and this must be corresponding with your EUP config maintained in SPRO > GRC > AC > User provisioning > Maintain End User Personalization.

Please check that again.

Also consider implementation of note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2088522.
